Take my hand, child, and sit with me, and I will explain what needs to be. My dear one, there is a sorrow emanating from you.

Oh, great source of love and light; I fear what is yet to come.  There is a pervasive hatred, a poison infused within the land. It's a brand of vitriol, naivety, and scorn of those whose skin is brown and those who love is misunderstood.

My Father, you made us in your image.  Why is it?  Why is there so much hate?  If we have been created as your perfect design, a design that embodies love and compassion, why are we so blind?

You created with love, and people die by hate. People die by the very hands of your creation; why is that? I am lost in this confusion.

Are we not to love our neighbors as ourselves? Was that not your commandment? Then why do we purge and exploit based on the color of skin and on the basis of who we are to love?

My Mother, source of all that is, why do we live in a world full of war and distrust? Why do people believe in a rhetoric of mass assimilation?

Why, oh Holy One, must this happen? Can you send your horsemen and purge the hate? They spew Christian values and behave contrary to your words of forgiveness and grace.

My Child, I know the hate the believers muster. Free will was the token given to the world, and my Word is your salvation. Come judgment day, they will answer based on their deeds and convictions.

I implore you, child, to look within and not doubt my immense love for you and all others, for it will be the resistors and warriors who fight for creation who will be seated at my table on judgment day.
